About the Border Region Project

Electronic data exchange of healthcare data between healthcare providers is essential to ensure high-quality patient care across borders. The Border Region Project, coordinated by Nictiz, promotes collaboration between healthcare organisations on both sides of the border with Germany and Belgium to make electronic data exchange a reality in cross-border patient care. The following is a list of the collaboration initiatives The Border Region Project is (or has been) involved in. We share the experiences, knowledge and insights gained through the Border Region Project to give other healthcare organisations the tools to start exchanging data across borders as well.
